"Your performances were magical, the music was spot on and the company was great at interacting with our pupils. So, so many compliments about the dancing. The overwhelming message is that the show was brilliant, and we need to have you back in school at the earliest opportunity" Teacher feedback, We Touch, We Play, We Dance, Woodlands Meed special school, Burgess Hill 2023

“The two neurodivergent groups that saw your performance have also been SO happy about the show. They said it created some really unique and special moments for the children” Dans Baby Dans Festival, Denmark 2025
We regularly tour our work to schools across the UK and internationally. Schools can experience our performances in a theatre or arts venue, or we can bring them directly to your school, creating an engaging experience for children in a familiar environment.

"The session is AMAZING, all the children are engaging so beautifully and individually. It's actually really moving to watch. I was going to just pop in and go out again, but I've ended up being in there most of the morning! It's wonderful" Teacher, Cherry Garden School, February 2024

We are very fortunate to work in partnership with some amazing nurseries and schools who open their doors to us, creating space for meaningful collaboration and co-creation with children and staff.
Nurseries and schools that we regularly collaborate with are:
Guildford Nursery School and Family Centre
guildfordnscc.surrey.sch.uk
A fully inclusive maintained nursery school led by Sally Cave, we have been partners of Guildford Nursery School since November 2024. We are regularly resident with them, moving and shaping ideas with the children in a shared ethos of play and co-creation. The nursery have a Froebelian ethos, which aligns with Second Hand Dance's principles of play, creativity, autonomy and exploration.
We are currently working closely with the Educators and children in the creation of our new production due to premiere in 2027.
