Artist Serena Korda was commissioned by Sovereign Housing to create a new work for Barton Hill.  Korda worked with residents of Barton Hill, Bristol, to create the Work as Movement Archive (WAMA) which records every day movements in work from the time of the Great Western Cotton Mill and Netham Chemical Works once sited in the area, to the present day.

The Archive forms the basis of a new folk dance choreographed by Rosie Heafford for Barton Hill, accompanied by a choir of school children which was performed on 12 May 2012.
