Arts Council Funding to tour 'Grass'

We are very pleased to announce that we have been successful in applying for funding from Arts Council Funding to tour Grass, our new show for children, around the UK with a run at The Unicorn in London!

More details and tour dates will be announced in the coming months, but we just thought we'd let you know how pleased we are to be taking Ant and Wormy on the road!

We are please to announce their new collaborative project funded by Arts Council England and Surrey County Council, with support from South East Dance, Nightingale Theatre and Surrey Arts Dance.

The Dad Dancing Project

Dad Dancing is an exciting new project by Rosie Heafford, Alexandrina Hemsley, Helena Webb and their Dads; Adrian, David and Andy.

Currently in its Research and Development phase, Dad Dancing will work with all 6 performers over 2 months to produce 2 scratch performances informed by research activities with the public. The team will be resident at Nightingale Theatre in Brighton in November and South East Dance Studios in December.

Creepy House

Second Hand Dance have been commissioned to make a new work inspired by the Summer Reading Challenge theme of 'Creepy House' to tour to 13 libraries in the South West of England in August 2013.

The work is being commissioned by the South West Association of Senior Children's and Education Librarians. It has been funded through Arts Council England's Grants for the Arts scheme with investment from Pavilion Dance South West and support from RIP, the Bridge organisation for the South West.
